Find which relays
have your nostr note
Posts on nostr only exist on the relays that stored them. If a note is missing in some apps, this tool shows which relays have it and lets you push it to the ones that do not.
Why a nostr note goes missing
A note is written to your write relays at the moment you post. If those relays were offline, prune old data or reject your event, other people's clients cannot find it. Clients that look in different relays then show different results.
Rebroadcasting fixes it
Every nostr event is signed by its author. That means anyone can copy it to another relay without changing it or needing the author's key. The finder sends exact copies to relays that are missing the note.
Frequently asked questions
Can I rebroadcast someone else's note?
Yes. The signature proves who wrote it, so relays accept a copy from anyone, unless the author marked it as protected (NIP-70).
What is an nevent?
An nevent is a shareable note ID that also carries relay hints. Clients use those hints to find the note quickly. The finder can generate one with relays that actually hold your note.
