Frequently asked questions
What is a good nostr relay latency?
Under 250 ms feels instant, 250 to 600 ms is fine, and anything over a second will make your client feel sluggish.
Does relay speed affect how fast my notes appear?
Yes. Clients wait for relays to confirm a note. Faster write relays mean your note shows as sent sooner.
